Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 13, 2026
This Policy explains what data SidusVita collects, how we use it to operate the service, who we share it with, how long we retain it, and what choices you have. It applies to the website, account, astrology scenarios, history, billing, voice flows, and web analytics.
1. Data We Collect
We may collect several categories of data depending on how you use the service.
Account and sign-in data: name, email, avatar, and technical identifiers received through Google sign-in or another supported authentication method.
Astrology and profile data: birth date, birth time, birth place, coordinates, timezone, chosen methodology, user-role settings, preferences, and other profile data you submit yourself.
Content and messages: your prompts, follow-up messages, synastry inputs, support requests, and other content you submit to the service.
Voice data: if you explicitly start a voice flow and confirm consent, we may receive audio, transcript text, and extracted data needed to complete that flow.
Technical and usage data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, language, timezone, referrer, route/page views, product events, technical logs, error data, and security signals.
Payment and purchase data: purchase details, offer code, payment status, transaction identifiers, and related billing events. We do not store full card details; they are handled by the payment provider.
If you contact us about a refund, disputed charge, or another billing issue, we may process support correspondence, technical logs, provisioning status, and related payment events to review the case, issue a refund, or meet legal obligations.
2. Cookies and Browser Storage
We use both cookies and browser storage.
Necessary cookies: for example, the authentication cookie and technical cookies such as language preference. They are required for account access, localization, and basic navigation.
Browser local storage: we may store birth-data drafts, local history, technical run caches, post-login resume state, interface preferences, and other data on your device to improve continuity and reduce context loss between screens.
Analytics cookies and similar technologies: we use or may use Google Analytics 4 and similar measurement tools. We plan to introduce a dedicated cookie banner / consent center for non-essential analytics cookies and similar technologies. When that layer is active, your choices there will control those technologies to the extent required by law.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to operate the service, not simply to store it.
Core purposes:
• create and maintain your account; • run calculations, synastry, follow-up, and other scenarios; • store history and profile data; • process payments and provision access; • review refunds, disputed charges, and billing incidents; • protect the service from abuse, fraud, and attacks; • measure product stability and usage; • improve UX, calculation quality, and service reliability; • respond to support and legal requests.
4. Why We Are Allowed to Process Data
Depending on context, we rely on several grounds: the need to provide the service and fulfill your requests, our legitimate interest in security and product improvement, your consent where it is required or explicitly given, and our legal obligations.
Examples:
• voice flows and audio processing are triggered only through your explicit action and consent; • non-essential analytics cookies and similar technologies will move under a dedicated consent flow; • security, anti-fraud, and server logs may be processed without a separate pop-up where necessary to operate and protect the service.
5. When and With Whom We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only where needed to operate the product or as required by law.
Recipient categories:
• infrastructure and hosting providers; • database and authentication providers; • payment processors; • analytics / measurement tools; • AI and speech-processing providers for scenarios you explicitly trigger; • security, anti-fraud, monitoring, and logging services; • advisors and contractors where needed to support the service; • public authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and infrastructure.
If you enter another person’s data into the service, for example for synastry, you are responsible for having the right and lawful basis to do so.
6. Web Analytics and Advertising
SidusVita currently uses Google Analytics 4 for page views and key interface events. This data helps us understand how the product behaves, where users drop off, and what needs improvement.
We do not send raw voice recordings, raw transcripts, or your birth data in plain form to web analytics. We aim to minimize PII in analytics events.
If additional advertising or remarketing technologies are added in the future, they should be reflected in this Policy and, where required, placed under a separate consent flow.
7. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the account, history, billing, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Different categories may have different retention periods: account and billing data may be retained longer, technical logs and diagnostics shorter, and browser storage until you or the browser clears it. Raw audio should not be retained longer than technically needed to complete the voice flow and related safety checks.
8. International Data Transfers
Depending on the infrastructure and providers we use, data may be processed outside your country. By using the service, you understand that data may pass through infrastructure in multiple jurisdictions. We try to work with providers that offer reasonable safeguards and contractual protections.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a regulator.
In practice, this means you may: change or remove certain profile data, request deletion of your account and related data, revoke Google access in your Google account settings, and limit cookies and analytics through browser settings and the future consent center.
10. Children and Minors
The service is primarily intended for adult users. If you are a minor under the laws of your country, use the service only with the consent and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian, as described in the Terms.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the product, infrastructure, analytics/consent approach, legal requirements, or payment setup changes. The updated version becomes effective on the publication date shown on this page unless stated otherwise.
