The Friday Route
Home, Just a Little Later
Today the Moon in Libra makes you want to go home, just a little later: on Friday evening it's easy to make the trip from work twice as long, cutting through the park, stopping by the corner coffee shop and turning down a side street you haven't walked since spring 🍂

🌘 Toward midday the Moon moves into Libra and the end-of-week mood turns noticeably softer, while by late afternoon Neptune, the planet of fog and daydreams, steps in: in the last hour of work your thoughts may start to drift, and one email may need a third read. The Moon herself is barely visible, the new Moon a little over a day away, so there likely won't be energy left for evening heroics, though there may be plenty for a walk to nowhere in particular.
And so, evening: work is over, but you don't feel like starting on the chores at home yet, and for the first time all day twenty minutes or so belong only to you. Some will spend them in the car outside their building with the engine off, some on a bench by the subway, and some will detour through the park, looking at strangers' lit windows they rush past without a glance from Monday to Thursday 🚶
The map app on your phone will suggest a shorter route a couple of times, but you're free to ignore it. At home, by the way, everything will stay right where it was: the dishes, the laundry and the question "what's for dinner?" aren't going anywhere, only for some reason they may be easier to face after a detour like that 🙂

A Pause Outside the Door
Before going inside tonight, stand outside your building for five minutes without scrolling and see which windows already have their lights on ⏱ Dinner and laundry can wait.
