Choosing Between Two Beiges
Because of the new Moon in Libra, today it's hard to choose even between two identical options, and any decision may feel final, especially when it's the upholstery on a couch you'll be sitting on for the next ten years 🛋

🌑 Early in the evening comes the new Moon in Libra, a sign that wants everything to be pretty and split evenly, and early in the morning the Moon stands across from Saturn, so by breakfast every little thing may feel like a decision for years to come. For those who make a wish at the new Moon, today's wish risks coming out as "let someone else choose for me."
And so on a day like this there's a temptation to spend ages choosing something very simple, like fabric for the couch: on the table at the furniture store lie two swatches, "warm sand" and "cashmere rose," and to an outsider both are, all in all, just beige. You might hold them side by side at the window, then under a lamp, then photograph them and send them to a friend, who will most likely reply, "Which one do you like better?" 🙃
The salesperson, back from lunch, may find the same two samples, silently lay a third one next to them, "cappuccino," and walk off again. If no choice gets made by closing time, that's no tragedy: the old couch, by the way, will easily last until spring, and the cat will happily leave snags on any of the three fabrics 🐈

A Wish Without "Or"
